Sunday round-up #7

34

The best way to summarise this past week is probably friends, and lots of them. This week I've met up with lots of my friends and made the most of my last week at home, as I'm heading back to London this evening for three weeks. Not a very long time in comparison to my other friends, but still  — any stretch of time away from home can be tough, although I'm definitely looking forward to seeing uni friends and being able to explore London. If there is one thing I love about London the most, it's the tube. A forty minute journey on the tube in London is a small fraction of a forty minute bus journey at home, and I tell you what, it grates on me a bit. This fury has probably come from the fact I've been on the bus one too many times since being home and it is so extortionately priced!

Anyway. The past seven days were filled with being reunited with a couple of friends I'd yet to see over the Easter period, stuffing my face with Nandos, inhaling books at a cute bookstore I'd been meaning to revisit since I first went nearly two years ago, and drinking lots of wine with my old drama class. Like I said, it has been a fairly busy one.

I like to keep it real on here (is that a lame phrase to use? I'm sorry) and tell you, my lovely readers, exactly how I'm feeling. And honestly, I'm experiencing a bit of a downward spiral with my mood these past couple of months. Nothing drastic; I'm just not feeling good about myself and aspects of life. I know it's unlikely that I'll get much feedback, but I'd love to know how you lift your spirits and love yourselves more.
