On the 6th May, a dream I have been hoarding since I was thirteen finally came true — seeing Miley Cyrus live. Now I know she's always been a bit of a marmite topic, but I've never been one to be ashamed of who I am or what I like — we've got one life, lets be true to ourselves. (Slightly off topic, but ya know what I'm saying guys!) The last time Miley toured in the UK, I was far too young to be able to afford the tickets, let alone to do the trip from home to London to go see her. But this time around, it was clearly meant to be.
Myself and Beth had seated tickets, and we were on the top level, but only one row back from the front. Obviously they weren't the best seats in the house, but I'm a student, so I went for the least pricey (well almost — I didn't want to be right at the back!). It was a surreal experience, and honestly felt like one big party. I was so happy to finally get to experience her brilliant vocals live. And, I tell you what, it was so weirdly wonderful to be surrounded by so many people who clearly love her as much as I do. Some of the outfits people wore were impressive. The word 'dedicated' springs to mind.
They're not the best quality videos visually, but the sound isn't too bad.
