Hello from London! I've officially been back a week, and it's weird to think I'll be back in Somerset in another two. It is a very fleeting visit this time around, which I feel very bittersweet about. I love being back and being reunited with all my friends, especially my flatmates Sophie and Lauren (pictured above) who I'll be sharing a house with — if we ever get it ruddy sorted! But then I'm also looking forward to not having any work to do for four months, and being able to kick back and relax. And, weirdly enough, I'm also looking forward to hopefully getting a job and earning some money. It would be reassuring to go back for second year and know I've got a bit of cash saved up.
Onto this past week... Honestly, it has not been hugely eventful. As can be depicted in my lack of any substantial blogging this week, I've been pretty focused on getting my last essay finished. I've not got much more to write until I hit the minimum word count, so I'm chuffed about that. It's not due until the 6th, but I wanted to get it done in time for when Beth comes to stay with me for a few days, and we go to see Miley on Tuesday — my thirteen year old self's dream is coming true finally! (It's definitely still my dream now, but not for long!!)
So that's why I've been a bit slack on the blogging front, but hopefully things will pick up next week. All I have left to say is that I can't believe first year is nearly over, but I'm sure I've rambled about that a trillion times already, so I hope you've had a good week and I'll see you in the next one!
