It's pretty funny how one week can be laid back and uneventful, and then the next can be absolutely packed and tiring. Honestly, I think I still may be half unconscious after the crazy that has been this week! It has definitely been a good kind of crazy though, and not one I want to go into great details about, because — hint, hint! nudge, nudge! — you'll get all the vivid details in a couple of posts. Oh, how I do tease you!
To tie you over for a couple of days, I've already written one post about the cuteness that was London's first cat cafe. I went with Beth, who I picked up from Paddington on Monday. She stayed with me until midday on Thursday. I think I'd done more walking in those three days than I have in a week before. As soon as I got back to my room after seeing her off, my feet were noticeably aching, and I could barely keep my eyes open past 6pm. I think I'm getting old. I'm just over six months away from turning twenty, and I'm a haggard old woman already.
Melodrama aside... Ahem. I'm returning home on Thursday evening, so as you can imagine the packing process is already in full swing! I wouldn't say I'm neither organised or disorganised — I'm definitely a healthy in-between, but when it comes to packing I get all excited at the prospect and go nuts way too early. That said, I've still got a way to go with getting my stuff together and leaving the room spick and span. (I want my deposit back in full!!)
So I may or may not have just moaned and groaned for a few hundred words, but that was because I didn't want to spoil my wonderful posts all about how fabulous this week has been. You'll thank me later (or perhaps not... I'm hoping for the former!).
