As you probably know by now, I am an avid reader; you can constantly find me with my head in a book. That said, recently I haven't been reading many books — queue violent sobbing. However, last week I received a hefty tax rebate and, although for the most part that went towards some of my rent and paying off my overdraft, I thought I deserved just a little treat. And so I bought a few books for a small fortune. I mean, it wasn't a necessary purchase, but I suppose it's better than the other alternative — clothes.
As you can see, I bought two more of Rainbow Rowell's novels, because I really did dig 'Eleanor & Park' and 'Fangirl' so much, so I've got a good feeling about these two. I also bought 'Four' which is a sort of companion novel to the rest of the 'Divergent' trilogy by Veronica Roth. I love, love, loved the trilogy so much (I actually think it was better than 'The Hunger Games'), and the thought of getting some perspective from Four's character had me experiencing heart palpitations. I can't wait to get stuck in!
