Sunday round-up #5

34

I've been home for a week and a half now, and I'll tell you what — it has been brilliant. I was seriously stressed out about the essay that was due on Thursday. I'm pretty sure that was the most I've ever procrastinated in my life; it was such a chore to try and finish. But it has been submitted. I imagine a miracle will have to happen for me to achieve a decent mark on it, but I'm just holding out hope I get over 50%, because I am not redoing that module.

All negativity aside, I spent Thursday evening with some of my lovely friends. We went out partying in the evening, danced to some cheesy tunes and got incredibly drunk. What more could you want from your Thursday night?

Another pretty awesome thing that happened this week was that Britain's Got Talent started again. I was never really a big BGT fan. I loved X Factor until the last couple of years when I used to work Saturdays, but I never really got into BGT apart from when Susan Boyle was about — incredible. But back in February, I got free tickets to be in the audience of some of the auditions at Hammersmith Apollo. And as I'm studying in London, it was an opportunity not to be missed. So I took myself and one of my uni friends, Keziah, and had an incredible evening. One act that really stood out for us was a boy band called Collabro. I'm a big fan of musical theatre, so these pretty charming and attractive lads were the perfect combination when they started singing Stars from Les Misérables bloody well. Their audition was aired this week, and to my pleasant surprise, I featured in some the clips where they spanned to the audience's reaction. Not just once, but twice! I was pretty excited to say the least, especially for such a wonderful and talented act! I know they're going to be really successful, and I wish them all the luck in the world.

Ooh, an extra picture for this weeks sunday round-up, aren't you lucky? How have your weeks been, guys? I'd love to know what you've been up to!
